The monarchy doesn’t really hold political power anymore. It’s more a formality. Ie, princes and kings of England don’t get to decide “who to nuke” or any of that shit.

I thought that they just survived on old money. Are you saying that they just get to float on tax dollars? Like some super exclusive welfare program? If so, yeah I had no idea and that’s totally fucked.
Looks like we're both correct; I just looked up the royals made billions of dollars buying land and receiving money from tenants. Like what Bill Gates wants to do buying up farm land all over the world. Most of their money is revenues from the Duchy of Cornwall. The Queen receives money via tax payer funded "sovereign grant". They're worth far more than I imagined.
