Looks like we're both correct; I just looked up the royals made billions of dollars buying land and receiving money from tenants. Like what Bill Gates wants to do buying up farm land all over the world. Most of their money is revenues from the Duchy of Cornwall. The Queen receives money via tax payer funded "sovereign grant". They're worth far more than I imagined.
