I'm going to delete some posts from a user that has deleted their account.

In my opinion, they were off topic to the sub.

I left them up originally because I was happy to have some contribution and excitement over this sub. However, now that the user has deleted their account, I don't think they will mind me deleting their old posts.

And the plus side I think is the underworld can get back to what it was meant to be about: contemplating our fallen state and figuring out where to go from here.

[Potentially I think maybe they were put here to make Poal appear more "extreme." Though it's impossible to deduce an anonymous person's intent.](#spoiler) I left them up originally because I was happy to have some contribution and excitement over this sub. It's not so easy.

Indicators of malevolent intent: number of posts/"flooding" behavior; campy, sort of overly obvious flavor of extremism (le Hitler, le day of the rope, right guys?); Over-friendliness, eagerness to get close to certain people (like hey man let me pay you to do my sub CSS); weird obsession with a certain coffee company; (plus whatever new information comes to light after the fact of this beatlejuice ban)

Indicators of benevolent intent: coming on the poalcast and discussing ideas, making seemingly good faith posts besides the cringy over the top extremist shit

I've observed that whenever you set a rule with shills, they then come back with a new approach that nearly violates this rule, but not quite. They aim to be right at the line of what is acceptable. Their goal appears to be to make sites like this into shitholes, so when moderating you need to think hard about exactly what kind of place you want the sub to be and follow your own rules. Even if your gut is telling you someone isn't 100% genuine, I think the better course of action is to err on the side of caution.

And damage done, in the end? Nothing strictly illegal was posted. Though the posts were excessive, they weren't enough to push legit content off the front page to where it would be hard for a discerning user to see or find. I assume most of the people who read my posts in get there from /all/new anyway.

Maybe the plus side of leaving them up is it lets other users gauge who this person is, though from what I've observed on this one people were overly trusting.

These kinds of users are one step away from being shabbos goys. So weak and entrenched in their jewish propaganda they view as 'the real world'. These types of people dont fully understand the world and as a result are terrified and fragile.

This is a self correcting issue, these people were not made to live long.
