For the sixth year in a row, more people are leaving California than any other state, according to the U-Haul annual report that tracks the continuing trend of Americans fleeing high-tax states in favor of no-tax or low-tax states.
The U-Haul Growth Index has also sparked an online war of words between Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom.
