Mormonism fascinates me to no end, for a LOT of reasons. I think one of my biggest questions I'd want to find out in the afterlife is whether the rank and file Mormon, who explicitly believes in Jesus and proclaims Him, even if their CONCEPT of him is wrong, is still saved. The simplicity of the gospel leads me to think Yes. But then you muddy the waters with mormon doctrine and their incorrect beliefs, does that mean that the path to salvation is lost through the dogma?

The Church of Latter Day Saints is quite fascinating; At the behest of some young Mormon Missionaries, I actually attended a couple of their Sunday meetings for Worship.
Based off of the Church structure, I kind of got the sense that their exoteric teachings are quite different from their esoteric teachings. It seems like a Church you have to buy your way into, one level at a time.
Also, their "President" is considered to be a living Prophet and Seer.
Their current 'Prophet' is , who just seems like the sketchiest motherfucker of all time, given his legal background.
There is something about that religion I truly do no trust.
The missionaries were quite pleasant to talk to, tho.
