When I was 17 YO, I was issued a select fire M16A1 rifle and trained in its use. I was also trained to operate .50 caliber Browning and M60 machine guns. I knew how to kill grown men using anything from my bare hands to a 16 inch naval gun (if I had the right radio). Yet, I could not go to the E club and legally buy a beer. I also couldn't go to the PX and purchase a firearm. I actually became a marksmanship instructor before I reached the age where I could legally purchase a firearm...

Same here, but we had M16A2s to train on. Couldn't buy a pack of smokes, but we'll train you to kill.

The Fifth ( or any other court ) is still missing the point. The Entire Bill of Rights are NOT rights 'given' by Gov. to be taken away at will. They are Restrictions On Gov. They are The Rights of The People that Gov. can Not infringe or Limit in any way and Anyone that attempts to limit this is committing Treason. The list is long.

This is it, this is exactly what I have also been telling others.

They are not "given" but gov. They are RESTRICTIONS ON GOV.

Is these boys can be taxed and serve in the military than they can bear and buy arms.

I think this is ok although having them take an emotional maturity test ma be good. But you can say that for any age, I suppose

Alright Pam... Let's see how big of a bad idea it was to let you out of the kitchen.
