I think it was sarcasm. Unfortunately it shows poor judgement either way. A politician should never publish sarcasm without making sure their statement can be construed in any other way than sarcasm.

The only 2 positive indicators I come up with is that Trump chose him (and knows about everything about him, at least much more than me) and that (((tptb))) did not want Trump to choose him as VP, their 3 guys didn't get chosen. I don't know what Trump's plans are for him. Whether he will be corralled away from the action or active in the game.
