I think he is just trying to be first if/when the announcement comes. Who knows. Regardless they still have to impeach him with the 25th or he has to die to replace him on the ballot in GA, NV, or WI. Death is the only acceptable reason for WI.

Valid point, but that's not really a "debunk." I don't really have an opinion either way. But as I pointed out in the OP, it does no good for the democrats to simply have him walk away from the race. Death is the only thing that can get a replacement candidate on the ballot in all 50 states. Impeached by the 25th Amendment will get them 49 states. If they are going to play that hand it will be last minute as to not give the republicans time to gather background data on the new candidate. Right now they have to do digs on many potential candidates instead of being able to focus on one. That's just my 2¢.
