As expected. Now watch Dems throw more animus at SCOTUS, like clockwork.
He was accused a citing an insurrection, not convicted. That is a critical distinction they didn't even consider when making this ruling, and there must be some other J6 issues they wanted to avoid.
They had no choice. They were either a Constitutional supreme court or they weren't. It was that cut and dry.
Congress, not the States, is "responsible for enforcing Section 3 against federal officeholders and candidates."
This just takes way their "super easy" button. They still have their "easy" buttons with dead people voting, miscounts, voting machine "glitches", and so on.
