In other news... Every single food company will now start to bake bread and sell it as a single item (this is what the exemption is for so it is technically any type of bakery.. Yes, we know that they are so corrupt that they made sure this would apply to his buddy that happens to own a bunch of panera bread franchises).

That is what I was thinking when I saw this. Garlic Bread. Cheesy Buns. Simple uncut sub breads. The possibilities are endless.

They will launch it as a new limited item that "we only make X per day! Get it before its gone!".

Then they can overcharge the fuck out of making some strange fast-food bread that is now some "hard to get trend"...

All so they can avoid the forced minimum wage of $20/hr for FAST FOOD WORKERS.

Working in fast food is not supposed to be a career. It is supposed to be a first/early job for young people to learn that some types of work sucks and to deal with it or not be employed while earning some cash to do stuff.

You are not supposed to be trying to support a family working at McDicks. Or to live in your own 2 bedroom apartment alone while working at Wendy's. You do this when you are in highschool/college on the side to make some money to help pay for your expenses while you have roommates and learn how to work.

Then again. They are all socialists now and don't understand why they have to "work for basic things like food and a roof over their head" and that forcing you to work for the "basics" is barbaric.

Cool man. Lets drop you in the south African wilderness with a fire starter, a tent and a few basic tools. Now you don't have to pay for shit but if you want to live you will have to "work". Good fucking luck. Don't give the animals aids when they eat you.

Make a stupid fucking loophole for your buddies.. Don't be supprised after everyone else catches on and uses it too.

Then again, that is probably the point. They expect everyone to use the loophole so everything about this stupid fucking "$20 min wage" is intended to fail no matter what.

Can you expect any company to pay $20/hr (~40k/yr) for low tier unskilled work while they import millions of illegal alien's that will work for $5/hr under the table?
