"Caught secretly recording" is a bullshit article title when within that same article it provides that one person can decide unilaterally to record without telling the other person.
"Arizona is a “one-party consent” state — meaning that only one party in a two-way conversation has to provide permission to record a conversation."
Here's a handy summary of states on recording https://recordinglaw.com/united-states-recording-laws/
I was going to say the same. I record every phone call since I have moved to AZ. Everyone should be allowed to. I would do the same with any in person meetings. I only use the recordings to protect myself. Everyone should have that right.
I have always assumed I'm being recorded on every phone call even before moving out here.
