The Biden administration has used an emergency authority to greenlight the sale of around 14,000 tank shells to Israel without congressional review, according to the Pentagon.

Using an Arms Export Control Act emergency declaration, Secretary of State Antony Blinken approved the sale of thousands of 120mm M830A1 High Explosive Anti-Tank Multi-Purpose with Tracer (MPAT) tank cartridges and related equipment to the Israeli military, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

Israel had requested permission to buy 13,981 of the tank shells from the United States, along with some engineering, technical, and logistics support services, all at an estimated cost of $106.5 million.

Remember this (as though it is needed here), since it highlights the power that Congress can choose to take if/when they feel it is needed.

Nothing for veterans. Nothing for Ohio. Nothing for Maui. Nothing for the border. Nothing for citizens. Nothing to fix elections. Nothing to help retirees or the elderly. Nothing for Americans.
