The GOP-controlled House of Representatives voted in favor of an amendment that would slash Democratic Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg‘s salary to just $1 on Tuesday evening.

The amendment to this year’s Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, responsible for funding for the General Services Administration, Securities, and Exchange Commissions, was passed by a voice vote after it was introduced to the House by GOP representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga). The bill will now be voted on by the full House in the coming days.

B. I believe most politicians are so corrupt, it doesn't matter. Bet he's got millions in kickbacks, bribes and blackmail payments coming in

And if not.. He will have tons of kickbacks coming in now that his salary is slashed. (which I agree, wont pass)
