It seems to happen a lot when it comes to flares! You'd never know I was near the top in the school spelling bee way too many years ago. Khazarian wasn't exactly on our radar back then.

Same here, the Math Team competitions were much more fun for me because I was better at it. But, I also did well in the spelling bee until I stopped entering sometime in middle school. Funny I can't remember why I got out of it, lack of interest I guess. Now I'm paying for it!
