Georgia's Marjorie Taylor Greene brought a resolution to the House floor on Thursday to censure Rashida Tlaib of Michigan for "antisemitic activity, sympathizing with terrorist organizations, and leading an insurrection at the United States Capitol Complex."
Greene listed several reasons for the censure, going back to 2019. These reasons include Tlaib publicly saying that she celebrated the Holocaust, during which 6 million Jews were murdered in Germany due solely to their race and religion. Tlaib said the Holocaust gave her a "calming feeling." She has shared content reading "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," which is a call for the eradication of Israel as a nation.
