I guarantee none of the faggots upvoting this actually read the article
The author is writing in defense of israel. The "wake up" he talks about is one of "muh jews are persecuted"
We woke up on October 8 to the clamor of street protests in cities across the West condemning Israel even before any major Israeli response to the attacks. We watched celebratory crowds brandish swastikas and chant “gas the Jews” at events purporting to be about the loss of Palestinian lives. We saw Black Lives Matter chapters lionize terrorists.
In London, where I live, we watched the mayor deliver glib assurances that “London’s diversity is our greatest strength” in the midst of a wave of antisemitic attacks, and as Jewish schools were forced to close because of safety concerns.
Nice headline reading, faggots.

Came here to point this out.
Glad I'm not the only one who saw it
OP is convinced it's about libtards being freed from the democrat plantation, lol
I like parts of the article myself, actually. I've read the Sowell book the author mentions and agree that it's a great read.
Yep heard interview on clay and Travis show today about this. It was a Zionist circle jerk.
New articles were scarce this morning. No doubt I loved the title, however the content was a bit of a disappointment but I think anything that breaks libtards free the democrat plantation should be a good thing. If, in the interim, they still think the jews are blameless, that is just a lingering delusion and after spending more time in the conservative world learning the real facts, this delusion too should pass. They have much to learn. Hence the "Perhaps Some Good News" flair. Breaking free of the cult is the first big step, conservative education will keep them from ever going back.
but I think anything that breaks libtards free the democrat plantation should be a good thing
But that's not what the author is talking about in the article. The "awakening" the author is referring to is one of "waking up to the oppression tht israel faces". It's one of "stand with muh greatest ally". Not talking about libtards being freed from the democrat plantation.
Fracturing their belief in the democrat dogma is key in breaking away from the plantation, disagreeing with the cult. A first step to conservative enlightenment. Agree, they still "don't get it" wrt to hamas/israel but they at least broke away from the cult's mandatory belief system. The article includes their changing views on immigration, again splitting with the cult. The promises vs the reality of immigration they can see and feel here in the US. The article delves into the left's defense strategy of using "racist epithets" against all who disagree with the cults demand for immigration. The title is a bit decieving, they are more conservative than they were before, but they are not full blown redpilled conservatives yet by a long shot. That takes time as their changing worldview evolves, they re-assess their past progressive beliefs, research and think for themselves, talk with real conservatives. Maybe I'm too optimistic for their full political transition, but breaking free from the lockstep democrat cult dogma is a huge first step in the redpill process. For me, that was a bigger take-away; cracks are finally forming on the left though these ex-libtards still don't fully understand the lebanon-israel dynamic yet. They are still caught up in believing the (((MSM))) illusion ... that's the next big hurdle in their evolution.
