I had some small hope that Scalise was a MAGA sleeper - I remember how much he said he liked/admired Trump during the first term, and Trump praised him as well. Gaetz voting for him supports that theme. Many articles out now that Scalise will be more accomodating to dems than McCarthy was. Lots of misinfo/disinfo flying around. Hard to tell what is real. All I know is that I'm gonna need more popcorn.
