Absence seizures are now referred to as partial or complex partial seizures. This looks like a complex partial seizure because his eyes deviate to the right and his lips compress and he's basically in a tonic state. Possibly had a stroke at that moment as well. I know someone with partial seizures and you can't even tell he's having one because they last seconds and are often sub clinical.

Yea, definitely somewhat subtle when it presents and he's another one that needs 'forced' retiring. It's ridiculous.
