They also include in the pledge that the 'loser' will not run as an independent or 3rd party. It's disappointing that Rs want loyalty to rules for only presidential candidates when they have a whole bunch of back stabbing non-loyal RINOs that get to be candidates for years and that screw up getting legislation passed.

This is the only thing that matters. The rest of the headline is a dismissable distraction.

Most of the "informed right" will never know the real headline. I also read elsewhere that the democrats already have a similar system. But they also any candidate who doesn't comply to pay back and money they gave them and fees spent on TV time etc.
