Another nobel and well intentioned but wholly inadequate bandaid applied in an attempt to staunch the arterial hemorrhaging that is the life blood of this once-upon-a-nation. We are well beyond the efficacy of any form of legislative or electoral pressure dressings, tourniquets or coagulants. Amputative secession to separate and segregate the gangrenous limbs from the whole of the body politic is the only viable option if any part of the patient is to be salvaged. All other efforts are only employed to delay the inevitable.
