EDIT: It's been two weeks and nothing has come of this. I think it's safe to say nothing will, so I'm going to un-stick the post.
I wrote to my congress rep to oppose debt deal because of a newsletter that was saying rep was proud to go to DC to support the debt deal. My congress rep only sends me AI generated auto reply canned responses to issues categories.
Same here Reps and Senators. I wrote to Susan Collins about the pending Obamacare Senate vote ~12 years ago, the reply didn't even mention obummercare. Time wasted.
I have had the same thing happen. However, you should keep writing. Staffers have a "for" or "against" pile/tally. If enough people complain about something it forces them to make a real response or actually look at whatever garbage is being supported.

Good. Obese people on airplanes endanger the journey. If they can't look after themselves then they shouldn't be on an airplane.
I'm sure it's not Patrick McHenry, NC-10, Rep. Every time you see a picture of McCarthy, McHenry is right 'behind' him like a little lost puppy. I'm sure he's anxiously sucking on that big-time tit of the (RINO) RNC.
