The US Supreme court threw out the lawsuit based on standing and not merit. They claimed the national election process was up to each state. Even though the state of Texas and the other states were affected negatively by the results. They ignored the fact that each of the states cited in the suit dis not even follow their own election laws. The Oligarchs decide who is elected in the US, not the people

The TX House did. The TX Senate hasn't heard the case yet.
Attention now shifts to the Texas Senate, which will conduct a trial with senators acting as jurors and designated House members presenting their case as impeachment managers.
Permanently removing Paxton from office and barring him from holding future elected office in Texas would require the support of two-thirds of senators.
