I'll likely never have children, but I despise what they want to do, have done and are doing. I despise the culture they embody, the perversions they delight in.
I might be in the minority, but I don't think correlation is the causation in this case, merely a symptom.
That's a fair analysis.
I'd say that Letters has the right of it. Pure selfishness. It drives them to not have children, because gasp they might have to pay attention to someone else for once in their life! They want to feel good, constantly, no matter the outcome. A momentary feeling of "I did a good thing" without dealing or acknowledging with the repercussions. An infantile mindset of "I did good thing therefore anything bad that comes of it is someone else's fault."
After all, if there's nothing wrong with what they do, then obviously nothing bad can come of it! In their minds, they are perfectly reasonable, compassionate beings who can do no wrong of their own accord. There must always be an outside factor, an intentional malice out to get them. There's no way that things can get worse if they keep on doing what they're doing. If things aren't getting better, it's not that THEY are flawed or wrong, it's everyone else.
