Just stop. Stop using the enemy’s terms. There is no such thing as a hate crime, because thoughts aren’t illegal. “B-b-but murder has degrees!” Because they indicate malice and premeditation. But i can Kill someone i hate with a punch and it’s manslaughter, while i can kill someone i love for an inheritance etc. and it’s first degree.
There is no hate crime. There is no hate speech. Stop trying to turn the enemy’s words back on them. They don’t care about logic or consistency.
Stop trying to turn the enemy’s words back on them.
I think Hawley is not necessarily turning it back on them, I think he suspects this was a FF and wants a real investigation into that aspect and is using their language to make it politically painful to refuse.
If true I support it. If not I agree with the newfag.
Hawley is a sharp guy. There has to be much more to it than wasting his time turning it back on them for insignificant theater while he's in a target rich environment. I'll be very disappointed in him otherwise.
