Until Trump is actually arrested and the charges can be read, it would be stupid for DeSantis to say anything. However, DeSantis knows if they come after Trump for total bullshit then they'll come after him as well. Unlike Biden or Trump, DeSantis is young enough that he's not escaping by claiming to have dementia or whatever. Better to fight with Trump as a disinterested third party than let this shit stand.
