Same like California, dems need all those 55 CA electoral votes in the bag before the election campaign even begins. They won't give up CA. OR has 7 electoral votes, I wonder if instead of dividing a state boundary they might get a proportional electoral state vote system going if that might be an easier path to sanity, instead of awarding all electoral votes to the majority party? Dems would fight that just as hard tho.
