Man I had horse meat set before me before at a friend's house, it was really dark, fortunately it was easy to pass.

Decades ago I lived in NZ. Our local butcher had separate display case labelled "pet food", filled with big chucks of horse meat. We used to buy some for our cat. He would start purring and drooling as soon as we walked in the house with it. The butcher told us most of his customers that buy don't have pets.

My close friend is a butcher and he told me horse meat is his favorite kind of meat. Yeah, I'd try it.
