What’s interesting is that the left’s critique of the war on drugs is based on the exact same principles that we use to argue against gun control, with the exception of the fact that it’s actually a right codified into our constitutional amendments…and somehow, this truth escapes them… -making it illegal doesn’t stop it from happening -it just creates a black market for it -it turns ordinary people into sudden criminals -it needlessly fills our prisons Somehow those logical conclusions disappear when the subject is guns instead of drugs..
