And if it did, it’ll go to the SCOTUS.
NYSRPA v Bruen raped any chance of this type of ban lasting very long. Lower courts are now forced to apply strict scrutiny and even shitlib judges are having a hard time wiggling out of it.
The entire gun control farce has long been propped up by "government opinion on public good" tests being applied above the language of the Constitution and that's gone now. Judges that still try to do it get rekt on appeal.
Honestly I hope they try to do more because the more they try the worse the precedent gets for them with subsequent decisions. There are already cases that would simply abolish the NFA, for instance, if the strict scrutiny tests are correctly applied. Love to see it.
