I agree, but if we are to believe that the "Overton Window" concept has been shifted to only allow discourse on leftist dogma, the only thing that we can hope for is a planting the seeds of political thought to slowly shift it away from it's current state. Yes, it's all highly abstract speculation on my part but at least the very real immediate result is a dead-locked congress. At this point, anything that congress does is harmful to the American people so at least that slows the boil. Which actually may also be a bad thing. Maybe we need a tyrannical, runaway congress to push us out of our comfort zone.
