That narrative to attempt to rehabilitate Rogers' character doesn't work. The hold outs were being threatened before the vote with being locked out of committees and 'I won't forget' revenge vows. They'd be aware of Rep Crenshaw's violent posturing fist-fight with a wall (wall won, his knuckles were bloodied).
