First - and this comment is not directed at you, but at the author of the headline - we need to establish that it isn't Fascism we're up against, but Communism. Words matter, especially in a context like this one.

Edit: Although I do like that the author pointed out , the rest of the article is a mess.

Alright enough in-fighting. Yes words matter. We all get that. But apart from the poor word choices here, the author does raise a good question:

How do we fight these fuckers? Cause voting isn’t working. And meme-ing isn’t doing it either.

Instead of in-fighting like a bunch of insecure grade-school kids we need to come together and fight these assholes in an effective manner.

So how?

Here's the author's conclusion:

Back a few years ago, when Trump was threatening to unleash liberty upon the land, the New York Times was talking about The Two Americas of 2016.  The ever-pretentiously named Big Think floated a map that partitioned the states into two countries of red and blue, and Common Dreams suggested parallel states.  These days, they don't seem as enamored of the idea, but since they brought it up first, perhaps it should be under discussion.

Perhaps that should be a discussion. Perhaps nothing will work until things get much worse. I do not have any answers.
