I was not aware of that. It was my impression that "money bills" had to have 60 votes. And there have been Republican CongressCritters that have been saying "we should be able to find 41 No votes in the Senate."

I guess it depends if this is reconciliation bill, which I thought they’d try to shove through with 51 votes.

No new laws can be added, some can be tweaked but it’s a spend all the cash you don’t have bill/reconciliation with a simple majority.

I hope it needs 60 and they can’t find enough votes.
