This is certainly not the last time Republicans will sell out their base. I'd like to see a law where if there is a government shutdown. All the employees that are deemed unessential and laid off in the process are prohibited from collecting back pay when the government is eventually funded. It annoys the fuck out of me when they get a paid vacation from shutdowns.
