I just have one question, and I hope it's not misconstrued, as I am not dissing or doubting Mac having possessed laptop.
But, how the heck can he see the content if he is blind. Which, I have no doubt that he is, it's obviously true that he his.
Is there another person? we are not aware of that assisted him on reviewing the content of laptop?

I think he's classified as legally blind. I believe that means he has vision worse than 20/200 or can see at 20ft what a normal human could see at 200ft. I think any means of correcting beyond that narrows the field of view too much to be useful. It's like trying to find things while looking through a telescope.
