The simple answer is that brainwashing works. Gen Z has been conditioned since birth to accept - even want - governmental control over their lives. They don't see it as voting against their interests, but in advance of them.

There are many factors why younger generations would tend to be more left. One reason is that people who are born now will never truly understand completely what was stolen from them. They won't know exactly how it was like actually living in the 90s, 80s, 50s etc. They won't completely understand how it was living in completely White countries. What they have is history books they can read to understands small fractions of the past (unless it's (((history)))) and old people to ask. For that reason it takes at least 20 years before a political/cultural change gets even close to full effect, because a whole new generation was born into it and humankind start forgetting.

There other reasons too obviously.

In my opinion, believing this is not the same as believing that all the elite says is the truth and it's not the same as simply hating young people either.
