Would this by any chance be related to these people entering Area 51 among other actual crimes related to "investigating" Area 51? I find it hard to believe because I didn't think the FBI fought actual crime anymore but it seems like it might be.

They instead should be thanking him and hiring him to consult for showing them how easy it is to see what they are doing. Then FBI can come up with better methods for keeping military secrets from foreign nations.
