Having worked as an EE in several refineries and chemical plants, fires like that are not at all uncommon. I have seen much worse fires that destroyed entire units, but every single one was rebuilt or a new one built to replace it. This refinery will rebuild too. It's not lost at all. The gas will continue to be made.

That’ll be their excuse to need to raise taxes to fund a tax break to rebuild the facility.

They’ll say some idiotic shit like “blah blah will create 837.2 trillion jobs”. What they’ll (((conveniently))) forget is that that will happen only after the polity pays for it.

The same niggers who wanted this gone will want it back. Politicians don’t get the real money unless public money moves.
