Something weird from last election: The poll worker didn't want me to use my own pen, wanted me to use theirs. I'll bring my own ball point pen, however, am unsure if ball point pens or gel anti-fraud pens are best, some machines don't register gel ink based on carbon or something or whatever and I don't know the tech on our counting machines and how they respond to ink. I won't use a sharpie though.
