This is him finding ways to continue to push towards electric cars. He can point to the high price of gas, which he will have caused, and show how much more affordable an EV is. Yeah it's really infuriating, a lot of my dumbass friends bought EVs and still continue to do so, even up until last week, claiming high gas prices. I don't even bother to educate them anymore, and they will reap what they've sown.
