I watched the interview. I took away that Kanye's respect for Trump was not encapsulated by the quote about buildings, above. 1. He was impressed that Trump built something tangible, well known, a brand....a brand admired enough that it could be stamped on buildings ....just like Kanye. Kanye went on to speak derisively about the Kushners...because they never created anything...they just weaseled ownership of things created by others. 2. "Trump only wanted the best for this country"
