If Republicans take the House in November, which is likely, and if Republicans live up to their rhetoric, which is questionable, the FBI and the Department of Justice may find themselves under the proverbial bare bulb.

If anyone can point to a single example where congressional hearings actually accomplished a fucking thing (except fooling people into believing congress actually does anything), I’d love to see it.

Because I can’t think of a single time. Not one.

So, even if the GOP does win and does hold such hearings, so what?

Until someone drafts and signs laws that make the FBI illegal/defunded/disbanded, none of it means a fucking thing.

What else is there to do? Make laws that say the FBI has to follow the law? Those already exist and are violated with impunity.

No, there is no solution here except to get rid of the FBI.
