Actually, freedom of speech and freedom of the press includes freedom to lie. There are laws against slander and libel (easily retracted at the end of a late-night newscast or hidden in the classified section of a newspaper) but everything else is fair game.
You can't have Anderson Cooper arrested for reading lies off the tpt, just like you can't have your ex-girlfriend arrested for saying the baby is yours. It is up to the individual to do due diligence and determine if what we are being told to believe is factual.
(Can you imagine if lying was illegal? Every parent that pushed the Santa Claus myth would be guilty.)
I agree, however, as I stated in my comment, I think there needs to be a truth in media law passed that requires news shows or stations to tell the truth or run a disclaimer stating otherwise. Local radio show host here does it all the time, he clearly states that he is not a journalist and his show is his own opinion.
Absolutely. If we are going to save our nation, we need to have a truthful media.
In my eyes, the msm are traitors, and should be treated as such.
High fives to you good sir!
