According to GOP Senators, their resolution would have avoided a "disastrous" rail strike, which could bring rail travel and freight shipments grinding to a halt across the country.
Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Democrats were putting the economy at risk.
"If a strike occurs and paralyzes food, fertilizer and energy shipments nationwide, it will be because Democrats blocked this bill," he tweeted.

The level of control the globalists have over every aspect of our lives is truly astonishing. Here, they’re managing to shut down the railroads with an astroturfed worker strike.
A large chunk of food in the US is moved around by rail, including cattle and their feed grain, so:
Civilization goes an old maxim is only nine meals away from barbarism. Once the food deliveries stop, so does law and order.
The sick and twisted globalists are setting the table for a massacre in the US once the food and drugs stop flowing. Then they will sit back and watch and eat de popcorn.
