neocon republicans love being out of power. they get to talk tough but then shrug their shoulders and say empty platitudes like "we just can't get anything done" or "the house/senate majority won't work with us on it"
they get to coast for 2 years doing nothing but making nice soundbites for those with short attention spans, which unfortunately is many.

spot on. as the ppl they voted for suffer with insane inflation, woke culture, mutilating children with gender affirming bs, billions given to a non-ally, open borders, rocketing crime, stagnating wages and basic learned hopelessness.
