One of former President Donald Trump’s two suggestions to serve as special master related to the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago raid is a former Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court judge linked to warrants against Carter Page.

Judge Raymond Dearie, a longtime judge for the Eastern District of New York, was among two picks by Trump, alongside two suggestions by the Justice Department, to serve as special master and independently review evidence the bureau had seized from Trump’s Florida resort home.

The choice raised eyebrows because Dearie served as a FISC judge who signed off on the final FISA warrant against Page. The surveillance was eventually ruled to be invalid by the DOJ.

If trump ends up in jail it's only going to render him more popular, same deal with any dishonest prosecution and ruling, it's only going to validate the fact that the entire gov needs a fucking purge from top to bottom

So everybody assumes that it's bad for Trump but what if Trump is actually in on at all and he wants an insider that's corrupt in on his case to play it up and make it look real bad so he looks like a victim so everybody loves him again.

but he actually wants somebody corrupt that he knows won't take it too far.

Because frankly at this point I'm of the mindset that Trump protected all the criminals and he's just fake opposition that they like to attack so then all the people who hate Democrats love Trump because he's being attacked by democrats.

but they never actually stopped to think that hey Trump never actually arrested any of the criminals and the only people who did get arrested were all the people who supported Trump and Trump himself never got arrested and you know that's the sign of an informant.

I think for a lot of people it was a choice of him vs Hillary. (Then him vs The Big Guy.)
