i have loans and i think this is a dumb ass idea. i mean, almost everything the government does is a stupid ass idea, just them trying to justify their existence while fucking over everyone who pays taxes.
i mean the most recent example being the EV Car Credit for $7500. You know what car manufacturers did? Raised their prices between $6-8k. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say colleges will also just raise their price. shocking I know.
the stupidity just doesn't stop and neither does the consequences, but the stupid ppl who make the decisions are essentially insulated from the consequences the average legal tax paying citizen has to endure.
