If dems wanted the middle class not to be slapped in the face to pay for Harvard grad degrees, and they wanted to tug at heart strings for the 1/3 or 2/3 or whatever that have student loans and no degree, then they should have used a brain cell and limit the forgiveness to those without a degree at least 5 years after last class in their degree program AND who make less than $50,000.
Instead this is a giveaway to all and any without regard to circumstances. Degreed and grad school students in women studies are all celebrating on our dollars.
