So the fuck what? The KGB protected Russians too sometimes. If a man beats his wife and then later shoots a bear to protect her, he still beat his wife. This is classic abuser talk. "We protect you so we can do whatever we want".

Nope. They have consistently been against civil rights. This is a historical fact that even most leftists would have to agree with.

False. FBl agents are just over one tenth as likely to die in the line of duty as police officers. That is safer than many civilian jobs. They also have higher salaries than the average American.
Merrick Garland is a partisan hack and clearly still salty about not getting to be on the supreme court, because he's a partisan hack. He's playing offended like a cheater who's just been caught.
