Objectively, the GOP grassroots are considerably more conservative than elected GOP officials. Plus Washington DC tends to corrupt all those who partake in the process. The GOP is definitely not united. There are the grassroots conservatives, some elected officials and Trump on one side of the party. On the other side of the party are many GOP RINO globalists that hate Trump and pander to the grassroots just to get votes, but vote in DC against the MAGA agenda. All considered, I guesstimate better than 70% chance them wussing out on any substantive reform of any kind.
